On Saturday, April 14, Bit by Bit fundraising rock stars Rob Bello, Vice President and Dara Orsini, Senior Account Executive donned sneakers and purple to take part in PurpleStride New York City 2018 and raise funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. For the past five years, they’ve participated in the 5k run/walk to honor the survivors, families, loved ones, and entire community affected by the deadly disease.
Inspired by fellow Ingram Micro Trust X Alliance member, and pancreatic cancer survivor, Stewart Lande, Rob and Dara have helped PurpleStride New York City raise over $500,000 to fight the disease so far in 2018. Participating in the 3.2 mile walk around Prospect Park in Brooklyn helps raise funds for scientific research, patient services, government advocacy and community engagement around pancreatic cancer.
